The Academy library boasts a superb collection for an institution of its size. In addition, as a research student here you have privileged access to the library at UNSW's main campus in Sydney, and the the libraries of the Australian National University and the University of Canberra. As if that weren't enough, Canberra is also home to the National Library of Australia.
As a research postgraduate, you have all the normal student borrowing privileges and in addition, the right to borrow journals from the library for a limited period.
The library photocopying facilities require the use of a chargeable photocopy card. Full time research postgraduates are given access to a limited amount of free photocopying - see the School office for a copycard if you need to use this facility.
The library provides, as a service to the School, a Current Awareness Bulletin, (CAB) which consists of photocopies of the contents pages of all the current journals in our field. The CABs are held in the School lunchroom for about a week after receipt. If you mark your name against an article that interests you, in a few weeks time, you will receive a photocopy of that article.
