Internet Facilities for Postgraduate Research Students at ADFA

As a research student at ADFA, you will be entitled to all the normal internet facilities.

To keep in contact with you, we try to maintain a mailing list of all our research students. But we have found it virtually impossible to keep the list up-to-date as to both

who is a research student (since people start and finish at irregular times)
what their current email address is (since it often changes whenever the student changes job)

In the end, we've decided to take responsibility for the first part only, and ask you to look after the second part. How? Well, you automatically have an account on our mail machine, csadfa.cs.adfa.edu.au, to which we will send all external mail, and an account on sealion.cs.adfa.edu.au to which we send all internal mail. If you want to receive it somewhere else, just put files called
.forward
(the full stop is important) in your areas on csadfa and sealion, containing the email address (or addresses) to which you want your email forwarded.
